Rot
Poem
Scrubbed my skin with my untrimmed nails,
Harder and harder every time.
The touch and the lingering love to be removed,
But I still feel it, I do, it’s not leaving. What to do?
It’s corrosive; it corrodes, and in the end, skin erodes
You spoil me, and then you let go,
She’s dead for you, and soon I’ll be too.
You’re a fool, but I am the bigger one for saying I do.
It’s all cruel, I can’t ride the vehicle with no fuel,
There is a rot all over my skin, but it has penetrated deeper now
I tried to stop that rot, but now it’s all over now
We are all over now. I am sober now.
Thank you for reading it
